As a reporter, Nadine covers education and leads the station’s literacy initiative “Read Today.”
Wimmer moved up the ranks in the KSL 5 newsroom as a weekend anchor, political reporter, general assignment reporter, and producer.
Born and raised in Salt Lake City, she started her broadcasting career at KSL Television as a University of Utah intern.
This was after earning her master’s degree in political communication and a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Utah. In addition, she attended a fellows program on education and journalism through the University of Washington.
Her commitment to education has ignited an immense excitement about her involvement in Reading Today, the KSL’s high-impact reading program.
